Lenovo Issues Voluntary All-In-One PC Recall

Lenovo has issued a voluntary recall of ThinkCentre M90z and M70z A-In-One PC’s manufactured between May 2010 and January 2012.
Lenovo has determined that the system can overheat posing a fire hazard.

SonicWALL on February 28, 2012 released a VPN client for the Android platform.
This will allow you to grant your Android device users safe and secure access to data insdie your company network.

As these devices spread in use it is very important to make sure that they are secure and managed. This APP ensures that you have a Clean VPN.

SBS 2011 Stability Issues

Since migrating to Small Business Server 2011 (SBS 2011), some of you have been experiencing random outages where connectivity to the server is lost, however the server itself appears to still be running. This behaviour is caused by an underlying problem in the software.

We have been working with Microsoft and the SBS community to determine root cause. As of this writing, root cause has not been positively identified. In the interim, Microsoft has released two hot fixes which appear to greatly reduce the frequency of the problem. Installation of these hot fixes requires a restart of the server (for each) and cannot be done remotely. We will be contacting you to schedule a date and time for installation.

Server outages such as this cause a great deal of frustration for everyone involved. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work towards a permanent fix.
